Rhys Hoskins

California native Rhys Hoskins has made an impact on and off the field since his MLB debut in 2017. He has excelled as a power-hitting first baseman for the Phillies and Brewers, assumed a leadership role in the clubhouse as a Player representative, and made his mark in the community through his charitable efforts. In 2024, Hoskins won MLBPA Players Choice Awards as Marvin Miller Man of the Year and Philanthropist of the Year. He spoke of his commitment to helping Players stand firm through challenging times during his involvement in the owners’ lockout in 2022.  “We had so many guys with opinions and with thoughts,’’ Hoskins said. “It was just a cool show of unity and dedication to make sure we were able to get as much done as we can.”
