Tarik Skubal

Tarik Skubal built on his superstar season last year continue his reign as the most dominant pitcher in the American League. He managed to put together a season that arguably surpassed that of 2024, with him striking out more batters (233), giving up the least walks in the league (1.4 per 9 innings) and lowering his ERA to an astonishing 2.23.  By the end of the season, Skubal had completely cemented himself as the undisputed best the AL had to offer on the mound, taking home back-to-back ERA titles and finishing as the league’s top pitcher in WAR for the second straight year.
